This year is just flying by, isn’t it?! Valentine’s Day weekend is already upon us, and the weather here in Texas has completely thrown my original outfit ideas out the window. So, I thought I’d rummage my closet for some Valentine’s Day outfit ideas for colder weather!
Whether you’re going for a casual date-night look, a business casual Valentine’s Day outfit, or a straight casual look, one of these three ideas should fit the bill while remaining both cozy and cute.
For any of these outfits, pair with a neutral overcoat, beanie, scarf, and gloves before heading out the door, and you’re set!
Classic Red Layered Outfit for Valentine’s Day

Red Sweater and Layered Cardigan: You can’t go wrong with a red sweater, and this wrap style sweater from Banana Republic is a super flattering cut that adds a little feminine flair to this layered outfit. And, of course, the J. Crew Factory Vanessa Sweater Jacket is a must-have essential for layering any basic outfit to take it up a notch. Styled with a pair of vegan suede leggings from Banana Republic (I’m wearing the petite length and it hits perfectly above the ankle!), these feature a side zip near the ankle for two different looks. And lastly, let’s talk about these pointed-toe slingback flats from Franco Sarto. I’M IN LOVE WITH THEM. So classy AND classic, they’ll be versatile in any wardrobe for years to come. They add a chic element to an outfit with added comfort in the small heel.
Romantic and Trendy Blush and White Valentine’s Day Outfit

Trendy and Casual Blush and White Outfit: There’s just something about winter-white outfits that make them stand out from the crowd. With the colder weather, an outfit with a top like this ribbed modern turtleneck top from LOFT is a no-brainer way to stay warm and cozy while still looking fabulous. Paired with white curvy skinny jeans from Amazon, a blush faux leather jacket, and a beige crossbody bag, this outfit is a perfect flirty neutral ensemble for the holiday.
Business Casual Chic Outfit for Valentine’s Day

Blazer and Graphic Tee Outfit: I don’t know about you, but I’m ALL for the blazer and graphic tee trend. I love how a blazer can dress up a casual outfit just as much as a graphic tee modernizes the ever-classic blazer look. Paired this “show more love” graphic tee from Target with a plaid blazer, made the outfit a bit more casual with the O.G. straight leg jeans from Old Navy, and tied in the pop of red with the Converse Shoreline slip-on sneakers.
