Can you believe we’re already in October?! Where has the time gone? I’m scrambling to get the Halloween decorations out in our front yard and figure out what costume the husband and I will wear this year (nothing fancy because of staying home with the pandemic, but I’m still going to be festive, darn it!

Sure, it’s fall and linen is a no-no if you’re following the traditional rules of seasonal fashion, but that doesn’t mean you can’t buy spring/fashion wear now and save a pretty penny for next season! This blazer is so lightweight, perfect to throw on over a basic outfit to dress it up a little for summer workwear.
Abercrombie Colorblock Sweater — all three color variations of this cozy Fall 2020 sweater are so dreamy! I love that each color block is lined in stitching to give this sweatshirt some added texture and complexity. Throw it over some yogas and pair it with these Steve Madden quilted slide-ons and you’ve got a perfect loungewear outfit.
Target Sling Packs in Cognac Brown and Black — Again, why it took me so long to get on the fanny-pack-over-the-shoulder trend is beyond me. This trend is SO convenient for shopping trips (and festivals if we were having that sort of thing these days). It frees up your hands for whatever task is at hand and dresses up an otherwise basic outfit. Bonus: these packs perfectly fit my iPhone, lipstick, and hand sanitizer comfortably, and have an inner zippered pouch to put your ID and credit cards in.
Target Tan Wool Fedora Hat — I am CONSTANTLY checking to see if this item is back in stock for y’all, because I get questions and compliments on this hat daily. It’s so comfy, and while it came a little banged up in the shipping (as witnessed by the other reviews on this item), it was easy to shape it back to life with a handheld steamer and some hand molding.
Old Navy Slouchy Loose Knit Sweater — This beauty is sadly sold out in this color, but there’s an olive striped version that will go beautifully into the fall season! With a loose, casual fit, this hole-y sweater provides just enough warmth with a bit of breathing room for a crisp summer night or a warmer fall day.
Banana Republic Factory Pleated Tank Top Blouse — I can’t accurately tell you how much I love this blouse!
