For many, Halloween will look a lot different this year. With COVID-19 causing several annual celebrations to take a pause in 2020, many are left wondering what to do with themselves on the festive fright night, or not feeling in the spooky spirit one bit.
I get it, and I’m right there with you. My husband and I LOVE to dress up, so we were a bit bummed to realize that the year that Halloween finally falls on a Saturday again, parties and bar costume contests were going to be a no-go.
But, despite the current climate, you can still get festive at home! I know we weren’t in the mood to get full-blown costumes, but every year without fail my halloween graphic tees make an appearance.

And this Hocus Pocus graphic tee I’m wearing below is one of my absolute favorites. Paired with a structured camel sweater coat/duster cardigan and some leopard loafers, I’ve got a chic and festive look I can curl up in on the couch at home while watching some spooky movies.

Hocus Pocus Graphic Tee: this t-shirt is so perfect for a Halloween ensemble, quoting an infamous line in this beloved Disney movie. I bought one size up so I could easily knot it.
Camel Duster Sweater: this duster cardigan is so cute, and I was pleasantly surprised about how well built it is! The quality of the fabric is great, and its length is perfect for my little short self (5’2″) but would also be lovely on someone taller!
O.G. Straight Jeans: these are my new favorite jeans and I’m not exaggerating. The cut is so flattering AND comfy! With a true high-rise, tapered waist, it actually hugs my curves and does away with the dreaded gap that most high-waist jeans have in order to fit my wider hips. Again, being short I rolled these up for more of an ankle-length look, but someone taller could achieve this without rolling.
Leopard Loafers: these are my tried and true fall flats. I’ve had them for 3 years now, and they’ve held up beautifully! I even got stuck in a crazy thunderstorm in Boston while wearing them, and they dried out in my hotel room and are still staying strong. I’m genuinely impressed.
Celebrating Halloween at home in warmer climates? Ditch the cardigan and trade the loafers for some animal printed mules and you’ve still got a cute, casual and festive outfit to get into the Halloween spirit while staying safe at home.
